Ticket Cancellation Procedure

The law permits participants to cancel a purchase 14 days from its transaction date, as long as the cancellation is done at least 7 days before the event’s start date. Any such cancellation will be subject to either a 5% cancellation fee or 100 NIS (the lower of the two).



  • To Cancel a ticket allocated by Production, Content, or Art departments, or to Theme Camp leaders, you need to notify your Department head or leader BEFORE canceling the ticket in the system (to ensure that your camp or department do not lose the allocation).


After that, you’ll need to email the Ticketing Department at Tickets@midburn.org with the title “Cancellation of a Department(name)/Art Installation/Camp (name) Ticket”. In the body of the email please indicate: Full name of the ticket holder Ticket number

Email address with which the ticket was purchased

Order number

4 last digits of the credit card used

You also need to attach a photo of your ID card to the email.



  • Cancellation of a regular ticket (any ticket not allocated to the participant from Production, Content, or Art departments, or a Theme Camp)


Please email the Ticketing Department at Tickets@midburn.org with the title “Ticket Cancellation”

In the body of the email please indicate: Full name of the ticket holder Ticket number

Email address with which the ticket was purchased

Order number

4 last digits of the credit card used

You also need to attach to your email a photo of your ID card.


*No allocation will be granted after a ticket was canceled.

FROM MIDBURN'S TERMS AND CONDITIONS :


Cancellation

The participants are aware and agree that as a general rule, the Midburn Associations activities, including the event itself, are based on donations, participation etc. including the proceeds from ticket sales to the event.


10.1. Payment

Payment for the ticket is done by credit card only. To be clear, the payment is performed by a third party company using an external clearing service, and hence, the transaction is subject to the third party terms and conditions. The Association aims to utilize the services of a licensed company with strict security standards, and which adheres to all the regulations derived from the Israeli Privacy Protection Law.

10.2. Cancellation

Cancelling the transaction is allowed online on the purchasing website, according to the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, within 14 days of purchasing, but not later than 7 days before the beginning of the event. To clarify, it is agreed that for the purpose of this section, the beginning of the event is on September 5th 2021, the day in which the preparations begin on the ground of the event.

10.3. Refund

Following a cancellation as instructed above, the buyer will be eligible for a refund for the original price, of which 5% is deducted as cancelation fee. The buyer or anyone on his behalf will have no claims against the said deduction.

10.4. Early forced cancellation

In the case where the event is cancelled for any reason that does not depend on the organizers, such as but not limited to, cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic (hereinafter: “forced cancellation”), and this until September 5th 20201, the following rule will apply:

If the ticket was purchased until July 25th, 2021, the buyer will be entitled to a refund with a 15% deduction including the cancellation fee and lost production costs. The buyer, or any one on his/her behalf, will not have any claim towards the association with regards to the aforementioned deduction.

If the ticket was purchased after July 25th, 2021, the buyer is entitled to a refund with a deduction of 210 NIS as a donation to the event production. The buyer or any one on his/her behalf will not have any claim towards the association with regards to the aforementioned deduction.


10.5. Late forced cancellation

In the case of forced cancellation (as defined above), declared on September 5th 2021 or later, including after the event begins, the buyer will not be eligible for a refund. The buyer or anyone on his behalf will have no claims against the said term.

10.6. Compensation

For the avoidance of doubt, the website admins and the Midburn Association will not be responsible for any direct or indirect damages, whether financial or other, incurred on the buyer due to purchasing the tickets on the website and/or as a result of cancellation or postponement of the event, and any reliance on the event taking place in the stated time is under the buyer’s sole responsibility.

10.7. Reassigning a ticket

The ticket is personal, yet transferable, and can be reassigned no later than 7 days before the beginning of the event as explained above, and subject to the ticket reassignment rules set by the Midburn Association and approved by it.
