Hi,

This is the Ticketing Department and we would like to explain to you about discounted tickets

for Midburn.

Financial Aid:

We would like to update you on this year’s Financial Aid (formerly “Low Income Aid”). First of

all, here are links to the forms through which you can apply, in English and in Hebrew.

An important update: This year Financial Aid is provided by way of a discount on an existing

Participation Allotment and not as a separate type of Allotment.

This means that whoever is eligible for Financial Aid will first have to obtain a regular

Participation Ticket (by participating in a Theme Camp/Art Installation/Production

Department). The Financial Aid will be provided as a discount code which you will enter

when you actually buy the ticket.

We are here to help everyone get to the Playa!

In order to receive Financial Aid, you must file an application. Your application will be

examined by our team. We shall respond to all applications (whether they were approved or

declined) within 2 weeks.

We examine each case individually, while also taking into account the amount of applications

vs. the amount of available Ticket Allotments for this category. Therefore we cannot publish

in advance the exact criteria by which your application may be approved or declined.

Important highlights:

● If you earn above minimum wages (and there are no unusual circumstances which

affect your financial status) receiving the discount is unlikely.

● Tickets purchased while applying the discount code are not eligible to transferral

under any circumstances.

● A person who has already purchased a full price Participation Ticket for Midburn

2023 will not be eligible for financial aid and their application will be declined a priori.

This applies even if the ticket was purchased via another person’s credit card.

● A person to whom was already transferred a full price Participation Ticket for Midburn

2023 will not be eligible for financial aid and their application will be declined. If their

application has already been approved, the eligibility will be revoked.

Anyone who needs financial aid to get to the Playa this year should apply. We will try to help

as many as we can.

The Financial Aid application form can be submitted up to 7 days before the Participation

● To get Financial Aid for Sale A, the application form must be filled and sent by Aug

10th 2023.

● To get Financial Aid for Sale B, the application form must be filled and sent by Sep

10th 2023. (This is the final date for applying; after this date the form will become

unavailable.)

Your privacy is important to us! Any personal information provided via the form will be used

only in order to evaluate your eligibility for Financial Aid, and for no other purpose.

The Ticketing Department team will not pass on your personal information to any 3rd party.

The team will delete all personal information after the event.

Any approved applications will entitle you to discount on Sale A and Sale B.

Pay attention! For some items on the application form, it is possible to attach relevant

documents that will help us with the approval process. Applications which have the relevant

documents attached will be prioritized over those that do not.

If you don’t have enough space on the form for all the documents you wish to attach, you

can send the additional documents to the Ticketing Department at tickets@midburn.org

Please specify in the email Subject line that the mail contains additional documents related

to a Financial Aid application, along with your full name (the one you used on the application

form).

67+ Tickets

To make sure that everyone can get to Midburn, we also allocate tickets to persons aged 67

and above.

To register for this allocation, please fill in this form.

The 67+ application form can be submitted up to 3 days before the Participation sale begins.

● To get 67+ Allocation for Sale A, the application form must be filled and sent by Aug

14th 2023.

● To get Financial Aid for Sale B, the application form must be filled and sent by Sep

14th 2023. (This is the final date for applying; after this date the form will become

unavailable.)
