Purchasing a ticket and canceling a transaction

These terms are worded in masculine for convenience only, but are addressed to both women and men.

The participant knows and agrees that, in general, the activities of the Midburn Association, including the holding of the event, are based on donations, participation etc., as well as on the payment of admission to the event.

 

  1. Payment for the tickets will be made by credit card only. It will be clarified that the payment itself is made through an external clearing system which will be operated by an external company (hereinafter: "the clearing company"). It is clarified that for every purchase made through the clearing company, the provisions of the terms of use of the clearing company's website will apply. The association will work to contact a clearing company that has a permit to manage databases and secure them as required by the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, and which operates in accordance with strict security standards.

  2. Cancellation of a transaction will be possible on the ticket sale website in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Cancellation of Transaction) Regulations, 2010 within 14 days from the date of the transaction, and provided that the cancellation is made no later than 7 business days before the event. 

  3. Purchasing a ticket during the 7 business days before the start of the event will not allow the ticket to be canceled.

  4. It is clarified and agreed that the date of the event for the purpose of this section is defined as the date of commencement of the establishment of the event in the field, as of the date of preparation of these regulations 20.09.2022 (hereinafter: "the date of commencement of the event").

  5. After the cancellation of the transaction by the purchaser as stated above, the purchaser will be entitled to a refund in accordance with the price actually paid, less 5% clearing fee.

  6. If the event is canceled for any reason independent of its organizers such as but not only, cancellation due to the corona plague (hereinafter: "forced cancellation"), until the date of the event according to these rules, the buyer will be entitled to a cancellation of cancellation fees in the amount of 25% and the purchaser and / or anyone on his behalf will have no claim against the association regarding the said deduction.

  7. For the avoidance of doubt, the administrators of the site and / or the association will not be responsible for any direct or indirect damage, financial or otherwise, caused to the buyer as a result of purchasing tickets on the site and / or as a result of canceling or postponing any event.

  8. The ticket is personal and can be transferred no later than 7 business days before the start date of the event, as defined above, subject to the conditions of transfer of tickets of the association and with its approval.
